WHAT WE DID IN CLASS TODAY:
We discussed the last part of Frankenstein. Ideas that rose out of our discussion were that the monster seems to take more responsibility for his actions that does Frankenstein and that Frankenstein is the most guilty character in the whole mess. We also discussed the idea that much of the problem of the monster could have been alleviated had Frankenstein told his story earlier.
HOMEWORK:
For each story in Frankenstein - Walton's, Frankenstein's, the monster - identify the rising action, climax, falling action, and resolution. You can use the mountain-shaped chart, or you can simply write it under a heading for each plot element.
