SUMMER READING FREE CHOICE BOOK REPORT (50 points)
“Book in a Can, Jar, Milk Carton, etc.”
STEP1: SELECT A CONTAINER
The container can be a plastic bag, a manila envelope, a can, or anything else that might be appropriate for a book. Decorate the container to convey some of the major details, elements, or themes found in the books.
STEP 2: FILL THE CONTAINER
Fill the container with the following items. The questions and the vocabulary should be written neatly on index card or neatly trimmed squares of paper.
Questions Write 9 questions based on the book - three Level I, three Level II, three Level III questions
Vocabulary Select 5 words from the book and put them in our vocabulary notebook format .
Things Include five things that have a connection to the story.
STEP 3: PRESENT YOUR “BOOK IN A ______” TO THE CLASS
In the presentation, the you will explain the connection of the container to the story, conduct a show and tell about the five things, and then shared information about three of the book's literary elements -- setting, characters, conflicts, climax, or resolution.
